Occupy Vacancy uses city-owned lots to install public art that acknowledges the collective loss of North St. Louis neighborhoods. We want to honor this heritage by highlighting the architectural and historical context that disappears when city homes are torn down. This outdoor installation is a call to action to revive the city’s occupancy and imagine a new legacy for the Northside.
